In 2025, HDPE sheet companies will launch in-depth cooperation with smart technology companies to launch "smart composite HDPE sheets."

This product embeds flexible sensors and conductive lines in traditional boards to achieve temperature monitoring, pressure sensing and data transmission functions.

It has been piloted in cold chain logistics carriages, smart storage shelves and environmental monitoring equipment. It can provide real-time feedback on environmental status and improve management efficiency.

For example, during refrigerated transportation, the plates can monitor temperature changes and automatically alarm to ensure food safety.

Experts pointed out that material functionalization and intelligence are the future development directions. HDPE sheets have become an ideal base material for intelligent composite materials due to their good processability and stability, and are expected to play a greater role in the construction of the Internet of Things and smart cities.
