HDPE sheets enter the high-end medical field and create a new standard for sterile safety

HDPE boards are accelerating their expansion into high value-added areas. Recently, a medical-grade HDPE sheet that has passed ISO 13485 medical device quality system certification has been officially launched.

The material has excellent antibacterial properties, is easy to clean, is resistant to disinfectant corrosion and has no precipitation properties. It has been used in medical environments such as operating room walls, pharmacy operating tables, and isolation ward partitions.

Compared with traditional materials, HDPE sheets are seamlessly spliced and have a dense surface, which can effectively prevent the growth of bacteria and improve the level of hospital infection prevention and control.

Many domestic tertiary hospitals have completed pilot renovations and received good feedback. Industry analysts believe that as medical construction standards improve, medical HDPE sheets will become a new trend in hospital construction, with huge market potential.
