HDPE board production process

The production process of HDPE sheets mainly includes raw material preparation, melt extrusion, calendering, cooling and shaping, cutting and other steps. First, high-density polyethylene particles are added to the hopper of the extruder and melted and extruded into a molten sheet of a certain thickness. The molten sheet is then rolled through a calender into sheets of the desired thickness. Then, after cooling and shaping, the plate is solidified and formed. Finally, the board is cut into the required size by cutting equipment to obtain the finished HDPE board.

During the production process, process parameters such as raw material quality, melting temperature, and calendering pressure need to be strictly controlled to ensure product quality and performance. In addition, in order to improve the weather resistance, aging resistance and other properties of HDPE boards, appropriate amounts of additives, such as antioxidants, anti-UV agents, etc., can also be added during the production process.
