For ABS boards less than 2 mm, use a sharp utility knife to scratch the surface to a suitable depth, and then break it open with your hands. However, beginners should be careful not to get injured while mastering the skills. After a longer and thicker material seam marked the entire board can be pressed against the edge of the table, and then broken off to split a board in two;

Commonly used wire saws and hacksaws are suitable for processing ABS boards;

Various thickness files, sandpaper, and other processing tools are good;

When drilling a hole of 5 mm or more in an ABS board, it is recommended to grind the drill into a thin shape so that the edges of the drilled hole are neat and attractive. Be careful not to cut too fast to avoid local melting of the material;

When using a computer engraving machine to process ABS boards, you should also pay attention to adjusting the cutting speed and forward speed. Only when the knife is not melted and stuck can a clean appearance and qualified parts be processed.　

The chloroform we use to adhere the ABS board is a highly volatile chemical substance. You can use a medical syringe to carefully (drop) chloroform to bind the ABS board.
